About James “Jim” Giacinto

I am a dually licensed massage therapist in Florida and New York and National Board Certified in Therapeutic Bodywork with advanced training in Orthopedic Manual Therapy. I currently practice in South Florida.

For over a decade, I have worked with professional athletes across multiple disciplines, including international tennis and soccer players, NBA players, Broadway performers, and Cirque du Soleil artists. I have also taught and mentored in academic and clinical settings, including Stony Brook University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy continuing education program.

Background

A native New Yorker, I began my career in the fitness industry, where I spent more than a decade developing and teaching performance-based training.

During that time, I taught a wide range of movement disciplines, including dance, strength and conditioning, cardio-based training, and recovery-focused classes. I also held certifications in Personal Training, Kettlebell Training, Spinning, and Cardio Kickboxing while pursuing advanced study in Pilates and yoga.

This movement background continues to shape my approach to manual therapy, integrating strength training principles and biomechanics into focused, precise treatment.

Having experienced my own physical challenges over the years, I understand firsthand how the body responds to stress, injury, and recovery. This experience has helped me become more attentive and empathetic in how I approach my work.

To support your care, I collaborate with physiotherapists, sports medicine specialists, chiropractors, and integrative health practitioners as needed. I currently reside in South Florida, maintaining a private mobile practice.

All professional licensing standards are maintained, with strict sanitation practices and an inclusive, non-discriminatory environment.
