Sessions
Orthopedic Sports Massage is a musculotherapy-based treatment that combines hands-on techniques with targeted therapeutic exercise to support recovery and long-term performance.
Many athletes only seek care once pain has set in, and traditional treatments may not fully address the underlying cause.
I address your pain first using hands-only techniques—no mechanical devices or gadgets—to release restricted muscle, joints, and fascia.
I assess your posture and body mechanics and observe subtle responses such as breathing patterns, tissue and muscle tonicity, and nervous system cues. This helps me adjust the session as you respond, ensuring the most effective treatment.
The session may include manual resistance exercises to target weaker muscles that support and stabilize your body. Suggested stretches and specific exercises reinforce correct biomechanics and support your overall training.
Unfortunately, during training at the gym or on the field, athletes often do not receive consistent guidance or correction on proper technique and body mechanics. This can lead to compensations, higher injury risk, and reduced performance.
My hands-on approach addresses these issues and bridges the gap between medical care and fitness training, supporting pain relief and training that promotes long-term strength, stability, and functional movement.
Benefits include:
Reduced pain and muscular tension
Improved recovery, mobility, and stability
Decreased injury risk and improved long-term performance
