After a lifetime career in the health & fitness industry, I saw the need for deep, effective hands on treatments that bridged the gap between massage, physical therapy and chiropractic care. Although my work is grounded in anatomical, kinesthetic and musculoskeletal principles, my approach includes being sensitive to my clients physical and emotional life’s experiences and how the body translates those experiences.

James (Jim) Giacinto, LMT is a New York State Licensed and Nationally Board Certified Massage Therapist with extensive continuing education in Orthopedic Manual Therapy. A native New Yorker, Jim understands the lifestyle that the city demands and has treated thousands of patients in providing relief from pain and restoring maximal performance.

Jim provides innovative treatment that differs greatly from typical 'spa' massage. Using a multidimensional approach, his hands on therapy addresses symptoms and help change  habitual postural movement patterns to ensure longer term results. His goal is to empower clients with the tools they need to live a more proactive life.

Prior to becoming a Licensed Therapist Jim brings 20 years experience in the health and fitness industry with a multitude of professional certifications including Personal Training, Dance, Kickboxing, Pilates Mat, Kettle Bell and Spinning. As an industry leader, Jim has been featured on News Channel 4 and New York Newsday and has been an instructor for world-class health clubs in NYC and a creator of Master Class Events for many charitable organizations. He has presented throughout the United States for national conventions and colleges, including East Coast Fitness Alliance, Town Sports International, Suffolk County Community College and Stony brook University Doctorate Physical Therapy for Continuing Education.

Passionate about his work, he thrives on the diversity of his clients and the array of conditions that he is challenged with and enjoys collaborating with Physical Therapists, Physicians and Psychotherapists for optimal client care

Beside his own private practice, Jim is an integral part of the KIMA (Kinesthetic Integrative Movement Analysis) Physiotherapy & Wellness Center team, located in the Flatiron District, NYC.
