The goal of treatment is to maximize your mobility by reducing your physical pain and mental stress. Treatments for the musculoskeletal system are based in Western anatomy and physiology with some Eastern modalities, guided by intuition and experience to treat the “whole” you. For athletes, performers and fitness enthusiast looking to feel and perform at their best.
Unlike conventional massage which may be limited to one modality ('Swedish' or 'Deep Tissue'), based on assessment with a strategic treatment plan for your specific needs. Sessions begin with a 'warm up' traditional massage to help the body and mind settle. Techniques can include Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Sports and Medical Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release. Functional Mobilization, Active Release and various Neuro muscular stretching modalities. Treatments are deep and intense while being sensitive to your bodies response and some active movement may be incorporated. It is not uncommon for dialogue between you and I to organically happen as sessions can release both physical and emotional barriers. Or you can just be still and absorb the treatment.
Sessions Address Postural habits and IMBALANCE of the musculoskeletal and nervous system. This helps to REDUCE levels of anxiety, stress, chronic pain, improve muscle tone, flexibility, energy levels and PERFORMANCE.
Many of the deeper and specific areas that are often overlooked such as Psoas (deeper hip flexor), Rotator Cuff (shoulder), Intercostals (ribs) or Scalene (front neck) are released to provide long term results. To provide you with the most effective treatment plan, together, we will review your medical history, assess your posture,sport & gym ergonomics. After treatments, recommended stability and stretching exercises may be included.
PLEASE NOTE: I do not use hot stones, or any spa treatments, nor do I charge extra for hot/cold therapy, massage oils or 'muscle therapy' lotions.

There is a quiet waiting space should you arrive for your appointment early, where you can relax & unwind before your session.
If participating in a Physical Therapy program please bring a list of exercises/diagnosis if available.
